How does a week-long vacation from home turn into nearly a three-week vacation from blogging? Perhaps “recovering” from vacation (what’s up with that?!) starting back to work and the kids going back to school may have had something to do with it. Couple that with feeling completely inadequate because of the week’s topic At The Well (having to do with housekeeping) and I have empty blogspace! To my 5 loyal readers, I humbly apologize, and to you ladies At the Well, don’t worry, I’ll be back.
This weekend, we are headed to Houston to see another Astros game. Last year was our first family trip to an Astros baseball game (minus the teen, but she’s coming this year), and it was a great success! I’ll share my spiritual lessons learned one day, but suffice it to say I learned quite a bit about long lines, free stuff, tiny hotel rooms, perseverance, possibility, faith, and enthusiasm.
