<————- These lovely ladies are some of my favorite people in the whole world! Aren’t we cute in our matching tshirts?
They are the girls from church who were brave enough to accompany me to the beach for a time of relaxing, refreshing, renewing, and restoring reSNORING. We had such a great time again this year, and as always, God was faithful to bless our time together. I told someone regarding the retreat that if I can just go once a year and have God reveal His plan and His hand as plainly as He has to me for the past few years, my faith will continue to increase in ways that I never knew it could. He has had such divine appointments for us each time. I’ve enjoyed building a retreat team that works together as smoothly as we did this year. I’ve got great friends and ministry partners!
You may not be able to tell from the picture, so let me clear up any doubts you may have…these ladies are NUTS – Absolutely crazy about Jesus & crazy about each other, and just plain crazy!
All ages, shapes, sizes, backgrounds, and life-stages were represented in our group of 16. Our unifying factor was the fact that we all belong to the Body of Christ. There were times of laughter, times of tears, even a few tense moments when I wondered “Ok, since I’m the ‘leader’, what am I supposed to do about this?” It was at these times that these ladies, my sisters, proved themselves to truly be followers of Christ as they prayed, embraced, forgave, encouraged, interceded, and showed humility and tenderness. I’m so grateful and awed at the provision that God makes in placing us in His family.
But as many as received Him, to them gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. -John 1:12-13
I’m so glad I’ve been born of God. If you’ve not become a son of God, it’s my prayer that you will receive Jesus, and believe on His name, so that you, too, can be born of God (and I can be part of your family!).
I’m a Believer!

I am delighted to hear that the retreat was a God honoring time of fellowship and learning. I have been out of town on vacation, but I did remember to pray for you and the ladies. I am also rejoicing in being a part of the family of God. HE is my treasure!
